The first of its kind in Malaysia, The Habitat is a world-class eco-tourism facility located on the fringes of a 130-million-year-old virgin rainforest on Penang Hill. Existing side-by-side with urban Penang and its environs, its eco-friendly attractions include a historical Nature Trail, Canopy Bridges, A Tree Top Walk, Canopy Walkways and Zip-Lines. Specially trained Naturalists will teach you about the myriad of insects, birds, reptiles, mammals and plants that call The Habitat home.

Throughout the Nature Trail, you will also come across numerous rest areas set in various themed gardens, such as the ginger gardens as well as bromeliad and orchid pavilions. The trail is 100% stroller and wheelchair friendly and is suitable for people of all ages. Visit The Habitat Penang Hill and be enchanted by the sights, sounds and breathtaking views of the magnificent rainforest – and you may discover that one visit is simply not enough.
